Join us for the replay of our exciting online event, the Patient Empowerment Summit! This summit aims to empower patients and provide them with valuable insights and resources to take control of their health. Whether you're a patient, caregiver, or healthcare professional, this summit is for you. Learn from six different healthcare experts on topics that are centered around helping you feel more confident as you navigate your health and healthcare. Each expert will share impactful and relevant insights in a maximum 30 minute block with time for Q and A afterward.
Your Instructor
After graduating in 2003 from the University of Florida with my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, I completed an additional year of residency training, specializing in Ambulatory Care. I worked in various settings within pharmacy for over a decade and a half before life hit me hard and I felt compelled to make a change. Losing my father to cancer led me to become the Founder and Chief Patient Advocate of Peace Advocacy Group. I knew at my core that I needed to do for others what I did for him. As a Private Patient Advocate, I now guide my clients to not only get the immediate answers they need for an existing medical problem, but also to begin focusing on wellness by incorporating mind, body, and spirit. My first book, Patient, Empower Thyself!, is scheduled to officially launch on World Cancer Day, 2/4/25! My journey to become an author was filled with uncertainty, fear, and tons of imposter syndrome. Bringing this literary creation of love to the world feels like an surreal dream. I enjoy filling my own cup by traveling with my family, sharing insights on the Heartstorming Healthcare Podcast, and seeking opportunities to live more consciously and aware.
